The Media Independent project is an exploration into new models for journalism, advertising and publishing. It is based on the following principles:
  • There has to be monetary incentive for the practice of independent journalism.
  • The role of advertising in publishing can and should be fundamentally rethought.
  • In a democratic society, an individual’s (consumer’s) right to privacy should not be compromised for the sake of marketing products and services.
